Is it really their voice, or an AI?
It's an AI voice, built from real recordings of them speaking — their stories, their personality, their way of telling them. We're always clear that you're hearing an AI persona of your loved one, not the person themselves.
Who owns the recordings? Can I delete them?
You do. Your stories and your voice belong to you, and you can delete them at any time.
Do I need the person's permission?
Yes. Preserving someone's voice always requires consent — for a living person, we ask for theirs clearly before any recording begins. If you're preserving someone who has passed, we ask you to confirm you have the right to preserve their memory.
Do I have to type everything, or can it be a phone call?
